Re-registrations can be handled until 1st of March 2017 by the participants themselves via the Mika Timing online re-registration service and will be charged with 20 Euro.
MIKA Timing will be in charge of timekeeping – a transponder timing system will be used. Each participant will carry a transponder chip with its own code number. When the participant passes over special contact mats that are laid out at both the start and finish lines as well as along the course, he or she will be identified by their number and the time at which they crossed the mat will be recorded. This allows an individual net and gross time to be recorded during the BraveheartBattle. Teams have a window of 5 minutes to cross the finish line.
Where can runners get the chip?
Many athletes who regularly participate in races have their own chip whose number they must provide when registering. Those who don’t have a chip will receive a rental chip from our partner Mika Timing. Mika Timing will manage the registrations and do the timekeeping for the BraveheartBattle. If participants require a transponder chip, an additional 5 euro handling fee for the rent will be charged. The rental transponder chips and race documents will be handed out at the Battle Office to the participants just before the BraveheartBattle. The chips must be returned to the Battle Office directly after the race. Participants whon don't return their chips until have to pay 28 Euro. It is not possible to assess a participant’s time without a chip!
By registering for the BraveheartBattle 2017, the participant accepts the disclaimer which can be read and downloaded under the “Disclaimer” menu item. Should individual terms of the disclaimer or any other individual terms of the agreement be invalid, the remaining terms shall remain unaffected.
Finisher and winning prizesEvery finisher who has tackled the course and all of the obstacles in no more than five hours receives a medal of honor at the finish line. Finishers will also receive a limited edition BraveheartBattle 2017 finisher sticker as well as a limited edition BraveheartBattle 2017 finisher T-shirt. These items can be collected at the Battle Office after the event.

Team ranking:Teams must cross the finish line together. No more than 5 minutes can pass between when the first and last team members cross the finish line. The overall team time is determined by when the final team member crosses the finish line. The individual times of each team member are of course also recorded.
More information about the location and services such as parking, catering at the event venue, showers etc. will be provided before the race.
Catering along the route:There are several catering stations: one is at the start/finish area, while the others are spread out along the route. Snacks and drinks will be handed out there and at the finish line. We recommend that runners pack energy bars and gels with them.
Security and medical care:
To ensure the safety of all participants, we work closely with the relevant authorities and emergency services. The fire department and rescue divers are stationed along the course.
